I have been painting for 35 years. I have dedicated my work to studying color through observation and imagination.

My passion for visual art goes back to childhood. " I remember being four years old and crying to my mother in frustration while I drew a horse over and over. I wanted it to look better."

Through times of single parenting and times of holding three jobs, I have persevered  improving my work as a scholar of the act of painting. I see this attitude in the students I have taught in both public and private schools and I can really relate. "Some kids are never satisfied. That was and still is, me."

I turn up the volume on some colors although its neutral hues that are so important to making my own harmonies. My art is part of many collections  all over New England including the collection of Hilly Ebling, Board member/ Monserrat College of Art.
